The Madera County Workforce Assistance Centers, in Madera and Oakhurst, are the One-Stop Centers for Madera County. They were created by a Federal law called the Workforce Investment Act to assist people in accessing services related to employment, education, and training in their local community. The Madera County Workforce Assistance Center includes several different agencies - all in one building - so customers can get services in one place.
