Microsoft Elevate America
Madera Workforce Assistance Center will be providing access to NO COST Computer Training.
In coordination with Microsoft Elevate America, you can gain the technology skills you need to be more employable, sharpen skills to retain current employment, apply for jobs you were not previously skilled for, and have confidence to continue the hard work of looking for jobs in a slowly improving economy.
Digital Literacy Curriculum Courses (voucher NOT required), is easily assessable and is geared to teach and assess basic computer concepts and skills so that people can use computer technology in everyday. From using the Internet, to sending e-mail, to creating a résumé, the Digital Literacy Curriculum helps to develop the essential skills they will need to be successful.
Microsoft E-learning Courses and select Certification Exams (voucher required, NO COST to recipients), is structured to allow opportunity for computer literacy skills upgrade in Microsoft Office Suites 2003 and 2007.
Whether you are entirely new to computing or have some experience, this curriculum will help you to develop a fundamental understanding of computers, increase your technology knowledge and skill level.
